Food Producer of the Year
Food Producer of the Year is open to all companies involved in agriculture, agri-business and food production. This category serves to recognise the diverse agriculture sector in the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough.
Who should apply?
We need producers to enter produce and products they are proud to make, grown and create.
The organisation should be able to demonstrate some or all of the following performance criteria:
- Support for rural community
- Sustainability and environmental awareness
- Diversification and innovation
- Commercial success and/or evidence of growth
- Commitment to local procurement

The proposed Merrow Hotel & Spa will bring exciting, new luxury accommodation, spa and conferencing facilities to the heart of the north coast.
Located at the start/finish line of the world famous Northwest 200, the £20 million hotel and spa will have 119 bedrooms and will facilitate conferences of up to 350 people.
Creating over 100 jobs, when operational it will help support the growth of the local economy and will keep visitors in the Causeway area for longer, which will benefit other local businesses.
