As a leading provider of All-Age Apprenticeships and Higher Level Apprenticeships (HLAs), NWRC is delighted to sponsor the Apprentice of the Year Award Category. We provide Further and Higher Education and skills training to around 10,000 learners each year across our five main campuses in Limavady (Main Street Limavady, and Greystone Limavady), Derry-Londonderry (Strand Road and Springtown), and Strabane.

The College has 4 main curriculum Faculties each catering for school leavers, mature students, professionals, community organisations, and the unemployed. Students undertake full-time or part-time study programmes in a range of professional and technical areas, including Apprenticeship, Traineeship and HLA opportunities in a number of skills-based areas.

We make a significant contribution to the local economy and are committed to helping local businesses and organisations access the training required to develop their workforce. The College has an award-winning Business Support Centre which manages engagement with industry, providing support to businesses through innovation and up-skilling, and assisting companies to source funding. Part of this bespoke support to industry has seen the College’s Foodovation Centre being established at our Main Street Limavady Campus, as well as the opening of an innovative Product Design Centre at our Greystone Limavady Campus. We are also a partner in the recently announced Growth Deal Investment for the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough.
